Answer:
This fact does disturb me quite a bit because they are essentially trying to take away the education of America's terrible upbringing. Slavery was probably one of the worst things that America has done in it's short life as a country, but sadly without slavery, the America we know now would not exist. I don't think anyone wants to hear about all of the awful things Americans did but it's something that needs to be taught so that history doesn't repeat itself. You don't ever want to repeat a mistake like slavery or anything close to it. Most history is imporatant because it shows you the mistakes and the succeses that have been made in the past, you copy the success you have seen in the past and you remember what not to do from histories past mistakes.
A vivid verb is a verb that evokes more vivid imagery than a more general verb. It is generally more descriptive.
For example, you can say, "The boy walked down the street." If you want to make the picture even more vivid, however, you could say "The boy sauntered down the street." In this case, "sauntered" is a vivid verb.
Hope this helps! :)

Answer:
That the woman would be willing to breed children to sell.
Explanation:
"A Modest Proposal" is a satirical essay written by Jonathan Swift in 1729. The purpose of this essay was to bring to light the impoverished conditions of the Irish people.
Swift has satirically asked the Irish women to breed their children till the age one and sell them to the rich people for food. This way these Irish people will be able to ease the economic conditions of England.
This satirical hyperbole essay was written not to take the words literally but it was a mock on the lack of any British Policies for impoverished Irish and on the heartless and rich people of England.
The false premise of the given excerpt is that a woman should bear and feed her children only to be given to rich people for food to earn money. Swift does not literally mean to ask women to sell their children for food to the rich.
