Animals are generally smarter than people because they have more to think about and are more exposed to a decisive environment. Animals often have to make decisions, from life and death to eating and mating. The competitiveness they have to adjust to arouses them to think more than humans are required to. Because animals are more complex in terms of survival and reproduction, they have to be more knowledgeable than people.
