Answer:

It shows that love, acts of affection, and kindness are better than acts related to wars where people die and suffer. In these violent wars, there is no love or happiness, but in the war that he plays, he is trying to spread love and happiness.

Explanation:

Shek Silverstein in this poem is trying to say that he wants peace and that we should do more of the things that are the polar opposite of war, such as hug, kiss, play, and enjoy the company of other people and their love because that is a much better option than a war where there is death, suffering, and fights. He wants love to win in this war.

Why is this excerpt from John F. Kennedy’s Inaugural Address an example of parallelism?
kap26 [50]
I have read the excerpt from John F. Kennedy's 1961 Inaugural Address and how this excerpt shows parallelism is that, each paragraph contains a warning and a pledge. He also makes use of repetition "Let both sides" and this conveys unity in his inaugural speech. Answer for this is the second option.
