There are lots of places in the US where I would be able to practice French, but the northeastern corner of the US would be best fit. This is because it is closest to Canada where French is mostly spoken (I.e. Quebec City, where French is the prominent language) for this reason Maine and Vermont would be good states to practice my French. This is where French is most commonly spoken in the United States.
