describe trisomy and monosomy, two chromosomal conditions found in humans. include examples each condition and how it occurs. not
Alenkasestr [34]
Monosomies is the point at which one chromosome does not have its homolog which is uncommon. Monosomies happen in cells From slip-ups in cell division amid mitosis and are related to compound presentation and cancers.Once preparation happens the gamete with 22 chromosomes shapes a zygote with 45 chromosomes. Most don't survive the just a single known to survive is monosomy 21 which resembles down disorder and causes many birth deformities and they don't survive long.

During which phase of mitosis do chromosomes line up at the spindle equator?
Reika [66]

Answer: chromosomes line up at the spindle of equator during Metaphase phase of mitosis.

Explanation:

Mitosis is a process of cell division that take placemajorly in eukaryotic cells where a parent cell divide to give to identical daughter cells. Mitosis is divided into five stages which are prophase, prometaphase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase.

During prophase the sisters chromatics are joined together at the central point called centromere.

In prometaphase the nuclear envelope that house the nucleus breaksdown which is detached from the cytoplasm.protein formation called kinetochores is formed around the centromere.

In metaphase, centromere of the chromosomes line up at the spindle of the equator.

In anaphase the sister chromatics are separated from the centromere, they are pulled at the poles and each have identical set.

During telophase a nuclear membrane surrounds the each set of chromosomes and separate the nuclear DNA from cytoplasm.
