The technology which is most responsible for promoting globalization and the blurring of regions is the Internet. When you are online, there are no regions or national borders - everybody belongs to the same 'online community,' and that wouldn't be possible if it weren't for the Internet. Thus, in a way, it definitely turned our lives for the better.
