I think it has 2 ideas into it which is not only environmental but it can also be political, in the environmental side, it brings more pollution and greenhouse gasses in the air to have everything industrialized which is very damaging because coal releases methane gas as well. on the political side corruption of the oil, gas, and mining keep many countries poor and they don't have any source of income which gives the government even more profit and they rather industrialize more rather than do something for the environment which is why the earth is saying that it isn't wat it wanted, because we're just slowly killing ourselves and everything around us

Well I do not know how to really explain the "bi" other than I think it meant two or both. But I do know biweekly mean something is done every two weeks or two times a week.
