Kaylee is making a poster to show changes that happen in nature during winter in northern
kari74 [83]

During the winter season, the tree branches get dormant.

Explanation:

As the winter season starts, many plants show very slower metabolism that is the growth of the plants become very slow.

During the winter, there is very low amount of sunlight that the plants receive and so the synthesis of chlorophyll by the plants also in very small amount, and so there is least amount of sugar to metabolize by means of a slower Photosynthesis.

These tree branches become dormant during winter season, and it is mostly covered with the scales.

The level of which hormone increases after ovulation?
MArishka [77]

The answer should be C, progesterone.

Progesterone is the hormone which can help maintain the lining of uterus and to further thicken it so that the uterus is prepared for implantation and the development of a baby. The level of progesterone is significantly rose after ovulation.

On the other hand, LH, luteinising hormone, is produced by oestrogen, another female hormone which will drop after ovulation. LH helps stimulate ovulation and prevent the development of other follicles, the origin of eggs, to form yellow body instead. Which yellow body is the one which stimulates the production of progesterone.

Last but not least, I believe D should be testosterone, and it is a male hormone so it will not be found in female normally.

Therefore, your answer should be C, progesterone.

ioda
The answers are - creating laws to regulate the amount of pollution, -planting trees at the same rate they are being cut down, -teaching citizens about water consumption and waste.

All three of these measures help people understand the importance of sustainability as well as ensure that on a governmental level, the required steps are being taken that a nation will witness increased dependance on renewable energy sources and not fossil ones.
