The statement that best describes the Mayan writing system is B) The Mayan writing system was the most evolved in the Americas.

As it's known, this civilization has been different from other civilizations in the Americas for having the only known fully developed written language of the pre-Columbian period.

The Mayan writing system is considered the most evolved because it was the only writing system of the pre-Columbian new world that completely represented the spoken language of its community. This system had in total more than one thousand of different glyphs, and it was the result of using logograms and a set of syllabic glyphs together which made it the most evolved.

Can someone tell me what the middle class is during the medieval times and how it came to exist?
swat32
The rise of the middle class came from two different groups of people, upper class families were one becuase of the amount of money it took to become a succesful merchant/ trader. The other group was merchants from the lower class who were often looked down upon but because of their succes in their respective guilds they were brought together. The middle class grew in importance due to the fact that there was a significant growth in the number of towns. The rise of the middle class created a merchant class, responsible for the growth of cities, increased trade, and lifted people from the lower class.
