The nickname "China's Sorrow" memorializes the millions that have been killed during the Huang He River's many diversions and floods. Most notably, in June 1938, the Nationalist Chinese Army used the river to block the Japanese army, killing an estimated 800,000 Chinese citizens and very few Japanese soldiers.

Which of the following three court cases affected marriage and family planning?
mafiozo [28]

Answer:

Obergefell v. Hodges

Loving v. Virginia

Roe v. Wade

Explanation:

Obergefell v. Hodges & Loving v. Virginia were Supreme Court cases that had to do with marriage. Obergefell v. Hodges was the most recent case in 2015, ruling that same-sex couples have the constitutional right to marry. Loving v. Virginia (1967) was a case that outlawed the segregation-era ban on interracial marriage. Both cases ruled that the protections were guaranteed under the Equal Protection & Due Process Clauses in the 14th Amendment.

Roe v. Wade (1973) is a more disputed case, but the original ruling guaranteed a woman's right to abort her baby. The Due Process Clause regarding privacy was again argued here.
