Answer:

This graph shows the population distribution of Brazil’s largest cities. The vertical axis shows the population, and the horizontal axis shows the rank of the city. The shape of this graph seems to follow rank-size distribution closely. It shows that the population of Rio de Janeiro is about half that of Sao Paulo and the population of Salvador is about half that of Rio de Janeiro. It also shows that the total population of the seven largest cities is about 2 x 7, or 14, million, while the total population of the three largest cities is about 20 million. In other words, the three largest cities account for over half of the population.

Assess whether economic development always leads to urban growth <br> (8 marks)
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

The answer is below

Explanation:

It is TRUE that economic development always leads to urban growth.

This is evident in the fact that economic development which depicts the availability of things such as employment opportunities, a good standard of living, an increased level of prosperity as a whole, and others, always leads to urban growth by drawing more population to the area where there is economic development.

It also attracts further economic investment, social infrastructure, more amenities, and others to such areas.

When a planet appears to move in a "zig-zag" loop on the sky, it is called:?
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer is Retrograde motion

Most of the time planet moves in expected path near the ecliptic which is east to west. Some times each planet turns around and moves to the east for a period of time, then it turns around to head in west direction again making a loop or zig-zag against the star background. This is called retrograde motion. Thus retrograde motion is the change of direction of the planets in loop.
