Determine whether $10.62/61lb = $7.05/4lb form a proportion. Explain.

It would be $1.76 for 1 lb, then you would times that by 61 and if it equals 10.62, it is proportional. I multiplied it and got $109.28/ 62 lbs so it can not form a proportion.

I believe the equation is y=350+150x with y being the total amount of money in his account and x being the number of months..Paul starts with $350, which is the y-intercept (starting value) of the equation then the slope is 150 because his total savings increases by $150 for every month he saves without making any withdrawals. I drew the segment and used Pythagorean theorem to solve for its measure. The line formed is the hypotenuse of the imaginary right triangle.

Among the choices only -1.33 and -1.25 is a feasible choice. But I am leaning towards -1.25 as the y-value of point F based on my diagram. Please see attachment.
