Wright then founded his own firm and developed a style known as the Prairie school, which strove for an "organic architecture" in designs for homes and commercial buildings.


Why is Frank Lloyd Wright famous -Answer- He is also famous for designing the Gugenheim Museum in New York. The museum was harshly criticized when it was built. Some critics said it looks like a "washing machine." But today it is recognized as a masterpiece.
