The characterization that internal conflict should carry is that of the feelings and thoughts of the character, since it is the internal conflict, how what the character believes interefers with his ability to face the world and the society surrounding him, now in this story the author creates puts the protagonist in a very special situation since he sets a day to tell only the truth and be truthful to himself, so in that day he uses speech and actions to characterize his internal conflict.
