During his childhood, Scott witnessed firsthand the failure that his father experienced and the damage that being done because of it.
He vowed that he would never be like his father and decided to work hard and believe in himself and he eventually became a great writer

He was a notable member of the lost generation. This side of the Paradise, The great Gatsby and Tender is the night are some of his famous novels.
