Puritan literature does exist in today’s world, but is not a topic of conversation. For example, the Crucible was an accurate representation of “witch hunts” both figuratively and literally; disrupting societal functions due to induced hysteria. This is not the, dare I say, “purest” form of Puritan literature, but is recognizable. Essentially, Puritan literature wouldn’t hold up well in today’s world due to the one sided views the puritans upheld

Answer: B. adjective

Explanation:

The part of speech refers to the syntactic function of a word. Arid is an adjective which means that it is primarily a modifier for nouns or phrases acting as nouns.

Dialogue between two friends about the value of entry test for college
ANTONII [103]

Answer:

Michael: Hey Chike, how prepared are you for the entry test?

Chike: I've done the best I can, but I don't think I'm prepared.

Michael: Where do you have difficulty?

Chike: I don't have a clue about Chemistry. I've tried to understand it, but I can't.

Michael: I could help, if you want.

Chike: No, no need. I'm going to cheat on the test.

Michael: No, that's not good.

Chike: My mind is made up, without cheating, I can't ace the test.

Michael: If you cheat and get into college, will you keep cheating? You would still meet Chemistry there.

Chike: Yeah, you're right. What time would you be free, so we can revise?

Michael: Anytime from 8.

Chike: Alright. Thank you.

Based on the interaction between miss miller and winterbourne ,it can reasonably be inferred that winterbourne?
meriva

The interaction between the characters shows that Winterbourne is very excited to visit the castle with Miss Miller.

Why can we come to this conclusion?

 • Because Winterbourne thinks Miss Miller is very pretty.
 • Because he's trying to get her attention.
 • Because he expects her to like him.

Winterbourne takes a keen interest in Miss Miller because she is young, beautiful, and single. He tried to get her attention, but she didn't show much interest until he invited her to visit a castle. She was very excited about the invitation and he was extremely excited at the prospect of being seen with such a beautiful and interesting girl.

He knows little about Miss Miller, but her presence attracts his attention and he wants to attract her attention as well.
