Explanation:

Robbins' organizational model consists of three components, namely:

  1. Centralization,
  2. complexity and
  3. formalization.

Centralization refers to the decision-making process, which is totally concentrated in the highest hierarchical level of the organization. The technology in this case can help communication, which is an extremely important factor in centralized organizations, through electronic systems, communication occurs more quickly and accurately, which improves the speed and productivity in the decision-making process.

Complexity refers to the heterogeneous organizational environment, that is, in an organization there are diversified and complex environmental elements, so an effective bureaucratic structure is needed to assist the organization in reaching its goals and objectives. It also refers to the division of labor and training and professional activities of an organization. In complexity, technology can be present in the form of machines and equipment responsible for keeping work easier and, consequently, improving processes and products that help to gain competitiveness.

Formality corresponds to the degree of standardization of organizational processes. In this category, the technology could be used, for example, on an assembly line, where the work is repeated and standardized, therefore requiring greater formalization procedures.

Mr. and Mrs. Frazier are legally married and realized a $723,000 gain on sale of a home that had been their principal residence
alexgriva [62]

Answer: $223,000 long-term capital gain.

Explanation:

LEGALLY MARRIED couples who file a JOINT TAX RETURN, selling their Place of PRIMARY RESIDENCE are allowed to reduce by $500,000, their Long-term capital gain.

That means that Mr. and Mrs. Frazier, bless their souls, are allowed to remove $500,000 from the total $723,000 and as such recognize only $223,000 as tax consequence on long-term capital gain.

I guess Uncle Sam likes marriages.

A $2.00 increase in a product's variable expense per unit accompanied by a $2.00 increase in its selling price per unit will: A)
liubo4ka [24]

Answer:

A) decrease the degree of operating leverage

Explanation:

The contribution margin is

sales - variable:

(sales + 2) - (variable + 2) = sales - variable

no change

so B is FALSE

as the contribution margin ratio is:

(sales - variable ) / sales

this increase will impact the contribution margin ratio.

(sales + 2 - (variable +2))/ (sales + 2)

(sales - variable) / (sales + 2)

the CMR will decrease.

so D is FALSE

the break-even on sales will increase as the CMR decreases

more units are needed to fullfil the fixed cost

so C is FALSE

A) decrease the degree of operating leverage

ΔEBIT / Δrevenue

sales increase and the variable cost increases

a change in the sales revenue will not be as efficient as it was before the degree of leverage will decrease.
