Explanation:

Robbins' organizational model consists of three components, namely:

  1. Centralization,
  2. complexity and
  3. formalization.

Centralization refers to the decision-making process, which is totally concentrated in the highest hierarchical level of the organization. The technology in this case can help communication, which is an extremely important factor in centralized organizations, through electronic systems, communication occurs more quickly and accurately, which improves the speed and productivity in the decision-making process.

Complexity refers to the heterogeneous organizational environment, that is, in an organization there are diversified and complex environmental elements, so an effective bureaucratic structure is needed to assist the organization in reaching its goals and objectives. It also refers to the division of labor and training and professional activities of an organization. In complexity, technology can be present in the form of machines and equipment responsible for keeping work easier and, consequently, improving processes and products that help to gain competitiveness.

Formality corresponds to the degree of standardization of organizational processes. In this category, the technology could be used, for example, on an assembly line, where the work is repeated and standardized, therefore requiring greater formalization procedures.

Answer:

$16.4

Explanation:

           Total share outstanding= 29000

           Total shareholder´s equity= $615600.

Now, calculating the book value per shares.

Formula; Book value per shares= \frac{(Total\ equity-preferred\ equity)}{Total\ shares\ outstanding}

Preferred stock= 1400 shares \times \$ 100= \$ 140000

∴ Preferred stock= $140000.

Book value per shares= \frac{(615600-140000)}{29000} = \frac{475600}{29000}
