However, the most striking feature of the 19th century social reform was the equal participation of women especially through their long battle of equality. Women's Suffrage was the political movement for women rights and the right to vote. The movement was in favor of women's participation in the election process to grant equal rights to vote.

It championed women voices from each and every section of the society against the discrimination based on gender. It paved way for modern Feminism that will change the status of women in 20th Century.
