Number of bricks = volume of wall/volume of 1 brick --------- (both in same units 
volume of wall = (15 × 12)(6 × 12)(1 × 12) in³ -------- convert all in inches 
volume of 1 brick = 6 × 4 × 2 in³ 

Number of bricks = (15 × 12)(6 × 12)(1 × 12)/(6 × 4 × 2) 
= (15 × 12)(6 × 3) 
= 3240
