The ages of Carolyn and her dad ,Caleb, sum to 75. Carolyn is half as old as her father. Find the ages of Carolyn and Caleb

Dad = d
Carolyn = 1/2d
1/2d + d = 75
d = 50

1/2(50) + 50 = 75
25 + 50 = 75
75 = 75

Carolyn = 25 years
Caleb = 50 years
