Homology
Homo=same
logy=combing of (I think)
so it basically says that you can point to a common ancestor because of a similar design (e.g. teeth, stomach, etc.) found in almost all creatures.
This is not a valid argument as just because something is similar does not mean it originated from the same source.
For example,
an Audi car and a Ford car may have similar features, like an engine, seatbelts, steering wheel. However, just because they are similar does not mean the same engineer designed both cars.

What happens to the cells of a person who has cancer?
Sliva [168]

Explanation:

Cancer happens when cells that are not normal grow and spread very fast. Normal body cells grow and divide and know to stop growing. Over time, they also die. Unlike these normal cells, cancer cells just continue to grow and divide out of control and don't die when they're supposed to.

Write a paragraph as if you are a molecule of carbon dioxide in the blood that will be excreted through the lungs. Start in the
schepotkina [342]

Carbon dioxide (chemical formula CO2) is a colorless and odorless gas that is vital to life on Earth. This naturally occurring chemical compound is made up of a carbon atom contently double bonded to two oxygen atoms. Carbon dioxide exists in Earth's atmosphere as a trace gas at a concentration of about 0.04 percent (400 ppm) by volume.Natural sources include volcanoes, hot springs and geysers, and it is freed from carbonate rocks by dissolution in water and acids. Because carbon dioxide is soluble in water, it occurs naturally in groundwater, rivers and lakes, in ice caps and glaciers and also in seawater. It is present in deposits of petroleum and natural gas.
