There are really three main ways of saying "the" in German.

Die - For feminine words (Ex. 'Die Farbe gelb' or 'The color yellow')

Das - For words that are more neutral (Ex. ' The Glas brach' or 'The glass broke')

Der - For Masculine Words (Ex. 'Der Mann isst brot' or 'The man eats bread')

The has three different forms in the German language
Die which is used for feminine as well as plural nouns (Die Tasche (Singular), Die Kinder (Plural))
Das which is used for neutral nouns (das Kind)
Der which is used for masculine nouns (Der Mann)
These are “THE” forms in the Nominativ Fall
For Akkusativ, Dativ and Genitiv these differ.

murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

Letzte Woche raumen wir das Haus auf

please add the umalut on the ‘a‘ in ‘raumen’, my keyboard is unable to add umlauts

Explanation:

aufraumen (my keyboard cannot add in the umlaut) is a seperable word.

aufraumen (please add the umlaut) becomes raumen + auf

conjugate raumen (wir is already en, so there is nothing needed to be changed)
