We need to first find an equivalent resistance across the parallel circuit.  that is found by the following equation
1/R1 + 1/R2 + ... = 1/Re
So...
1/17.2 + 1/22.4 = 1/Re
0.1021 = 1/Re
Re = 9.792 Ohms

Now use the Voltage equation V = IR
6 = I * 9.792
I = 6/9.792 = 0.613 Amps (or the current)

Answer : The current in a parallel circuit is, 0.6 A

Solution : Given,

Resistance, R_1 = 17.2 ohm

Resistance, R_2 = 22.4 ohm

Voltage = 6.0 V

First we have to calculate the total resistance in a circuit.

\frac{1}{R}=\frac{1}{R_1}+\frac{1}{R_2}

Now put all the given values in this expression, we get the total resistance in a circuit.

\frac{1}{R}=\frac{1}{17.2}+\frac{1}{22.4}

R=9.7\Omega

Now we have to calculate the current flowing in a parallel circuit.

Using ohm's law :

V=I\times R

where,

V = voltage

R = resistance

I = current

Now put all the given values in this formula, we get

6.0V=I\times 9.7\Omega

I=0.6A

Therefore, the current in a parallel circuit is, 0.6 A

What specialized structures does crayfish have that make it well suited to its environment
Zinaida [17]
Crayfish are invertebrates which means they don't have a backbone. They are also arthropods, which means that they have a protective exoskeleton on the outside of their body. Other arthropods include insects, spiders, and centipedes. Crayfish continually shed their exoskeleton and regrow a new one. During this transition is when they are most vulnerable to predators because they aren't protected by their outer shell.

Crayfish are found all over the world in many different freshwater environments, such as rivers, creeks, springs, and swamps. But this doesn't necessarily mean that you will be able to find them. They are somewhat cryptic because they dig out homes for themselves under rocks and blend in well with their environment. Crayfish will ardently defend this dwelling against intruders using their strong front claws

How does cancer relate to the cell cycle??
AlekseyPX
Cancer is a mutation that occurs during the cell cycle, usually when it develops and grows it means the mutation was able to go through the cycle undetected at checkpoints so the cell was not destroyed by the lysosomes.

How might it be possible for a child to show a trait that neither of the parents showed?
e-lub [12.9K]

A person can only show a recessive trait if both of their parents carried at least one copy of each of the recessive allele. The parents do not need to show the trait, as one copy is not enough to reveal it, but they must both carry it.

Hope this helped!

During which era was the earth dominated by mostly single-celled organisms?
lubasha [3.4K]

The first known single-celled organisms appeared on Earth about 3.5 billion years ago, roughly a billion years after Earth formed. More complex forms of life took longer to evolve, with the first multicellular animals not appearing until about 600 million years ago.
