612 divided by 68 equals to 9 because when you start off in placing them 68 can not go into 61 so you would have to leave it blank on top 68 can go into 612 9 times so write 9 on top and write 612 minus 612 which equals to zero so your answer would be 9 and if you want to make sure the answer is 9 then multiply 68 x 9 which you would first multiply 8 x 9 which gives you 72 so regroup the 7 and leave the two there after multiply 9 x 6 which gives you 54 and then add the 7 which gives you 61 and place them together which gives 612

What is 18w-2=10w+14?
NeTakaya

w = 2

BECAUSE

The first step is subtract both sides by 10w. Once you do that you are left with

8w - 2 =+ 14

Then you add both sides by 2, leaving you with

8w = 16

Then you divide by 8, and you get your answer:

w = 2

The pressure at sea level is 11 atmosphere and increases at a constant rate as depth increases. When Sydney dives to a depth of
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

The function p(x) = 0.1x+1 ,   where  x is the depth in meters.

Step-by-step explanation:

As per the statement: The pressure at sea level is 1 atmosphere and increases at a constant rate as depth increases.

Then, we have the two points i,e (0, 1) and (23, 3.3).

An equation of the line is in the form of y=mx+b where m is the slope or rate of the line and b is the y-intercept.

Let x represents the depth in meters and p(x)= y represents the pressure in atmosphere.

Calculate slope of the line:

Slope of line(m) is given by:

m = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

Substitute the given point we have;

m = \frac{3.3-1}{23-0} = \frac{2.3}{23} = 0.1

Then, our equation of line become:

y = 0.1x + b                           .....[1]

To solve for b;

Substitute the point (0, 1)  in [1];

1 = 0.1(0)+b

1 = b

Our equation for this line become: y = 0.1x +1

Now, we write this for x as a function of p,

i.e, p(x) = 0.1x + 1

Then, the function formula become;

p(x) = 0.1x+1 where x is the depth in meters.

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

In pattern A, we see that each number is 3 more than the one before it. B is incorrect because the pattern is +9. C is incorrect because the numbers in Pattern A is 3x Less than the corresponding numbers in Pattern B. D is incorrect because the numbers in Pattern B are 3x more than the numbers in Pattern A.

Hope this helps!
