Answer: G. x = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

The diagram of the table is shown in the attached photo for better illustration.

Referring to the diagram,

Angle 13x + 12 and angle y are on a straight line. Since the sum of the angles on a straight line is 180 degrees, it means that

y + 13x + 12 = 180

y = 180 - 12 - 13x

y = 168 - 13x- - - - -1

Since the top and the bottom are parallel lines, then angle y and angle 2x + 3 are alternate angles. Alternate angles are equal. Therefore

y = 2x + 3- - - - - 2

Equating equation 1 to equation 2, it becomes

168 - 13x = 2x + 3

2x + 13x = 168 - 3

15x = 165

x = 165/15

x = 11

Find the distance between the points given.<br><br> (2, 2) and (5, 5)
mario62 [17]
Distance between two points, d, is given by
d= \sqrt{ ( x_{2} - x_{1}) ^{2} + (y_{2} - y_{1}) ^{2} }&#10;
where: (x1, y1) = (2, 2) and (x2, y2) = (5, 5)
d= &#10;\sqrt{ ( 5 - 2) ^{2} + (5 - 2) ^{2} } \\ d= \sqrt{ (3)^{2} + 3^{2} }  &#10;\\ d= \sqrt{9+9}  \\ d= \sqrt{18}  \\ d=3\sqrt{2} \ units

guajiro [1.7K]
Hello,

spinner has 1 yellow, 2 red, 3 blue and 2 green sections. What is the probability of not getting a yellow?

to find the probability to not get a yellow you have to know the total of color which is

1+2+3+2=8

and its 1 yellow

So the probability of not getting a yellow is 1/8

hope this help
