Explanation:

French colonies presence in Texas was a threat for the Spanish control over the Texas so for that purpose they wanted to remove the French colonies in order to stronger its control. The Spanish found Fort Saint Louis and burned all remains in order to eradicate all traces of the French presence in that fort and they built another fort known as presidio. The downfall of Fort St. Louis affected the future of Texas culture because the French presence was totally removed from Texas.
