Catchment areas are essential for bring water to our villages, towns, and cities because they help to collect and push water resources into a centralized location for humans to use. These areas are essential to supporting life as well because catchments help to refill groundwater resources that are used in many processes of human life. In addition wetlands help to process water that is polluted making it safer for human use and also better for the environment to prevent damage.
