The correct answer is - C. Strains of bacteria can become immune to antibiotics that once killed them effectively.

One of the best examples where we can witness the evolution taking place are the bacteria. The bacteria can be very dangerous, so because of that people created antibiotics in order to control it or destroy it. But the bacteria has shown on multiple occasions that it actually is able to develop immunity to the antibiotics after few generations. Because of that, new antibiotics are constantly made in order to cope with the bacteria, but it constantly manages to strengthen its immune system, so its an ever going battle between the evolution of the bacteria and the scientists that try to kill it.

How might an individual's own cells lead to false verdicts of guilt.
Gre4nikov [31]

Answer:

Through a circumstance known as "secondary transfer DNA", or "Touch DNA".

Explanation:

Most times when a crime is committed, DNA samples are obtained from surfaces in the scene where the crime was committed. There is a very huge possibility of picking up the DNA of someone who was never at the scene of the crime and this is a result of a condition known as Touch DNA.

Because we touch several objects which can be moved to different locations and touch people who are also always mobile, our DNA cells can find their ways to a crime scene where we had never physically been to. This can lead to false verdicts of guilt.
