hey all carry umbrellas. A dog sits on the steps of the house. JUNE: We didn’t think you’d be coming back for the puppy. MR. TELLER: I said I would when I dropped the puppy off. SYLVIO: Yes, but that was months ago. We thought you’d be back for the puppy in a couple days. Now she’s a full-grown dog. Mr. Teller wants his dog, Lucy, back.

The conflict of the play is the main problem. It is clear in the play that Mr. Teller wants his dog back but Sylvio and June have brought the dog into their family. The rain is not a conflict, just part of the setting and sets a depressing mood. The fact that Lucy has grown up is not a problem. The fact that Mr. Teller is the dog's owner creates the conflict since the owner should be allowed to take his dog, but Sylvio and June thought Mr. Teller had abandoned her at their house.

Dennis_Churaev [7]

Admiral McRaven took the abstract and overwhelming concept of “changing the world” and broke it down with a simple argument: Everyone can make a global impact by improving the lives of ten people. Give your audience measurable steps they can take today to put that inspiration into action.
