Answer:

True

Explanation:

EDGAR ALLAN POE talked about the happy and sad times of his life....

It also illustrates how the experiences of his childhood have affected his life....

He spent most of his time alone and could not get a chance to share his thoughts, feelings, and experiences with others. Therefore, his perception toward life and nature differs from the people who have enjoyed childhood. He adds, while others look up at the sky to see heaven and angels, he only sees darkness. In fact, the demons inside him never allow him to see, or sense anything positive. He fails to adore nature’s beauty. .,..

That's how i see it...

Hope it helps..

Examine why Airstrip One operates on military time, as opposed to standard time, which Britain has historically used.
balandron [24]

The question being posed is alluded from the novel '1984' by George Orwell.  In 1984, there were three enormous nations that existed and they are: Oceana, Eurasia, and Eastasia. Airstrip One is the name that was given to what we know as Britain. Another thing given to Britain as Airstrip One is the utilization of military time. This can be thought to be done so as to loan to the setting inside the novel. What military time use does inside the novel is add to the police state vibe that exists for the hero Winston Smith.

In about 250 words, describe how the themes in "The Man Who Was Almost a Man" interact and build on each other.
vesna_86 [32]

There are two main themes that dominate the story "The Man Who Was Almost a Man" by Richard Wright. These two themes interact and build on each other throughout the story.

The first theme is that of power. This is clear throughout the story in all the decisions Dave makes. In the story, Dave wants to own a gun. However, the gun is seen as a way to become powerful and masculine, something he has been denied. He cannot keep the money he earns, he has to obey his parents, he is not respected among his peers. This leads him to want to accomplish power in any way he can find. Moreover, he is denied this autonomy because of racial reasons.

On the other hand, the story also has a component of a coming-of-age story. Dave wants to achieve autonomy, and he wants to be able to act freely. He also wants to be more independent and more of an adult, which in turn signifies more power. This is why he gets the gun. And in this way, both themes are related and build on each other. However, Dave discovers that having more power does not equal being more of an adult.
