Answer:

£32 in total for the top and two trousers

Step-by-step explanation:

The price for a top In the "cloth for you" shop= £10

The price for a bermuda trouser In the "cloth for you" shop= £12

There is a 20% discount on tops

The price If I bought one top and would trouser will be

(10-(0.2*10)) for the top

2(12) for the trouser

Total= (10-(0.2*10))+ 2(12)

Total = 10-2+24

Total = £32

So I spent £32 in total for the top and two trousers

While preparing for a morning conference, principal Corsetti is laying out 8 dozen bagels on square plates. Each plate can hold
timofeeve [1]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We have 8 dozen bagels, or 8*12=96 bagels.  Each plate can hold 14 bagels, so we have enough bagels to fill 96/14=about 6.86 plates.  However, we cannot have a fraction of a plate, so we round up to have a total of seven plates.  To fill all seven plates fully, 7*14=98 bagels would be needed, which is two more than we have.

To summarize, Mr. Corsetti has seven plates of bagels, and would need two more bagels to fill the last one up.

A model for the basal metabolism rate, in kcal/h, of a young man is R(t) = 95 − 0.18 cos(πt/12), where t is the time in hours me
11111nata11111 [884]

Answer:

  2280 kcal

Step-by-step explanation:

The given function R(t) is periodic with a period of 24 hours, so the integral is the product of the average value (95 kcal/h) and the 24-hour interval:

  (95 kcal/h)(24 h) = 2280 kcal

Evaluate the expression(-3.8)+0+y for the given values of y.
11111nata11111 [884]

Answer:

y = -3.3 then  -7.1

y = -7.1 then  -10.9

y = -2.6 then -6.4

y = 1 then -2.8

y = 4.2 then 0.4

Step-by-step explanation:

(-3.8)+0+y can be simplified to -3.8 + y. Evaluate each value for y by substituting it into the expression and solving.

y = -3.3 then -3.8 + -3.3 = -7.1

y = -7.1 then -3.8 + -7.1 = -10.9

y = -2.6 then -3.8 + -2.6 = -6.4

y = 1 then -3.8 + 1 = -2.8

y = 4.2 then -3.8 + 4.2 = 0.4
