Answer: C. It is important to be able to communicate in more than one language

Spanish students from Mexico and other Spanish speaking countries have learned to speak a second language in school because it is very important that one can express himself in more than one language in order to be understood.

I believe the answer is: C.  It is important to be able to communicate in more than one language

This even become much more important due to the globalization era that happened after the development of technologies.
People who refuse to learn more than one language would be denied various kind of career/business opportunities that would prevent them from obtaining what they want to achieve in their life.<span />

g _______________ are extraneous variables that may influence the results of the study, but are not directly measured by the stu
Vesna [10]

Answer:

Confounds; control

Explanation:

Given that CONFOUNDS are forms of Extraneous variables, though, they affect variables that are not related. Also, since CONFOUNDS are not independent variables, researchers or experimenters CONTROL other variables that are not independent, while they MANIPULATE independent variables.

Hence, CONFOUNDS are extraneous variables that may influence the results of the study but are not directly measured by the study. Experimenters must CONTROL these variables to be more confident that the results of the experiment are due to the manipulation of the independent variable and not some other variable.

Which American document is the basis of all U.S. national law?
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]
The law of the United States comprises many levels[1] of codified forms of law, of which the most important is the United States Constitution, the foundation of the federal government of the United States. The Constitution sets out the boundaries of federal law, which consists of acts of Congress,[2] treaties ratified by the Senate,[3]regulations promulgated by the executive branch,[4] and case law originating from the federal judiciary.[5] The United States Code is the official compilation and codification of general and permanent federal statutory law.

Federal law and treaties, so long as they are in accordance with the Constitution, preempt conflicting state and territorial laws in the 50 U.S. states and in the territories.[6] However, the scope of federal preemption is limited because the scope of federal power is not universal. In the dual-sovereign[7] system of American federalism (actually tripartite[8]because of the presence of Indian reservations), states are the plenarysovereigns, each with their own constitution, while the federal sovereign possesses only the limited supreme authority enumerated in the Constitution.[9] Indeed, states may grant their citizens broader rights than the federal Constitution as long as they do not infringe on any federal constitutional rights. Thus, most U.S. law (especially the actual "living law" of contract, tort, property, criminal, and family law experienced by the majority of citizens on a day-to-day basis) consists primarily of state law, which can and does vary greatly from one state to the next.

At both the federal and state levels, with the exception of the state of Louisiana, the law of the United States is largely derived from the common law system of English law, which was in force at the time of the American Revolutionary War.] However, American law has diverged greatly from its English ancestor both in terms of substance and procedure, and has incorporated a number of civil law innovations.

How did the question of civil service reform contribute to divisions within the republican party?
Keith_Richards [23]

I believe the answer is: "Hayes dealt with the problem of corruption by advocating a "thorough, radical, and complete" reform of the civil service.

prior to this radical changes, civll workers are mostly influenced by connection rather than the skills and competency of the candidates. Many republican at that time use their connection to promote their friends or relatives to the government body, which cause the split among the republican party.

If a product is sold at the price indicated and supplied in the quantity indicated by the intersection of the supply and demand
tatyana61 [14]

Answer:

B)  no shortage and no surplus.

Explanation:

The market is said to be in the state of equilibrium when the curves of the supply and demand intersect with each other. It is at this position that the quantity of product supplied and the quantity of the demand are equal.  The state of surplus is reached when the market price exceeds the equilibrium price. Market price falls when the supply quantity is greater than the demand quantity.
