2. Proponents and opponents of nuclear plants disagree on a number of issues. In particular, the question of safe disposal of nu

clear wastes has created strong feelings and considerable conflict. Nuclear power has helped many communities. It provides the additional electricity desperately needed during stress periods such as extremely cold winters and hot summers. Nuclear power has proved to be an important supplement to fossil fuel sources, especially in areas where fossil fuel is scarce.

Answer:

True

Explanation:

The disposal of nuclear wastes is something that people really look into. The wastes generated by nuclear reactors remain radioactive for many years and there are no storage solutions for the wastes that can prove long-term.

Despite all these, nuclear energy has been the largest source of clean energy in countries like the United States of America, where over 800 billion kilowatts hours of electricity are gotten annually from this source which helps many communities mostly during extreme cold winters. Carbon-free electricity can be produced from nuclear sources which helps supplement the use of fossilized fuels mostly where the fossil fuels cannot be easily found.

Dadaism was heavily influenced by which war?
Veseljchak [2.6K]
World War 1 because as Taskmasters said on this website, "Dadaism was an art movement of the European avant-garde, in the early 20th century, which was heavily influenced by World War I. It was anti-war and anti-bourgeois, and had political affinities with radical left. Some of the key figures of the Dada movement were: Hugo Ball, Emmy Hennings, Hans Arp, George Grosz, Max Ernst, Beatrice Wood, Tristan Tzara, Francis Picabia, etc. The movement influenced later styles in art such as Surrealism, Nouveau Realisme, pop art and Fluxus."   (I quoted another guy's answer a.k.a.
