Hello!

The correct answer is D: Thank you so much for coming in today.

Options A, B, and C are all either the beginning of a conversation or in the middle of a conversation. For example, asking "Is there something I can help you with this afternoon?" is the beginning of a conversation. Saying "thank you for coming" shows the end of a conversation.

I hope this helps you! Have a great day!

Your answer would be C) Thank you so much for coming in today. After saying this, you can walk away without leaving someone hanging. If you were to say either A or D and walk away, well... it’d probably be kinda awkward... after saying B, you would most likely go show a person the selection and probably help them there too. Which would leave you with C as your best option as a closing to a conversation.

How does this quotation add credibility to Freedman’s line that the voyage was an ordeal, but it was worth it? It comes from a r
irakobra [83]

Answer:

It comes from a reliable source Edward Corsi was not only an immigrant himself but also a Commissioner of Immigration.

Explanation:

'Immigrant Kids' is a book written by Russell Freedam on the lives of children who came as an immigrant to America. These young kids had to work as a labour in many industries to earn money. The book also sheds light on American dream for a new comer to America.

The quotation 'that the voyage was an ordeal, but worth it' were said by Edward Corsi, who himself was a ten-year old immigrant in 1907. He sailed to New York Harbour as a ten-year old immigrant. Edward Corsi, then, later became tthe Commissioner of Immigration as well.

So, the quote is credible because it is coming from a reliable source, Edward Corsi. Thus the correct answer is the last option.
