In Spirited Away, I most empathized with Chihiro. I know what it's like to think you have lost someone forever, and will never get them back. In my case, it was one of my friends. In Chihiro's case, it was her parents. She thought she would never get them back to human form, and get them home. With my friend, I thought they would never come back, and that they were gone forever. I think this is why I most empathize with Chihiro.
