Answer:

It is used for lipogenesis

Explanation:

Carbohydrates are broken down into glucose and then this glucose is absorbed in the blood from where it enters the cell and used for ATP production.

The excess of glucose in the body is used for lipogenesis. So excess glucose converts into fat and stored in the liver. Some fat is also stored as glycogen in the liver and muscles by the action of insulin but the majority of excess glucose converts into fat.

This fat provides a reserve energy source in our body. Therefore the right answer is- It is used for lipogenesis.

During prophase dna condenses into x-shaped structures called
yanalaym [24]

Answer:

chromosomes.

Explanation:

Chromosomes occur as strands of long-chain protein molecules called DNA. Chromosomes are made up of two strands each called chromatid . The chromatids are joined at a point called centromere. During prophase, the chromosomes become tightly coiled and so appear shorter and thicker. Parts of chromosomes form functional units called genes which determine different activities of the cell. Genes are hereditary and can be transmitted from parent to off-spring.

Which of the following is the most predictable outcome of increased gene flow between two populations?
Rudik [331]

Answer:

The correct answer is b. decreased genetic difference between the two populations

Explanation:

The gene flow between two population always reduce the genetic difference between the two population because it increases the homogeneity between the population.

If there is greater gene flow between the two populations genes will be shared and transferred between the individual of two population which will make the two gene pool to become more and more similar.

This will increase the fitness of both the population because more allele will add to the two populations. Therefore the correct answer is b.
