Given parameters:

 Coordinate of the two points  = A(-9, 2)  and  B(5,-4)

Unknown:

The mid point of AB;

Solution

To find the mid point of line AB, use the expression below;

          x_{m} , y_{m}  = \frac{x_{1} +  x_{2} }{2} , \frac{y_{1}  + y_{2} }{2}

   x₁ = -9, x₂ = 5

    y₁ = 2, y₂ = -4

 Input the parameters and solve;

         x_{m} , y_{m}  = \frac{-9 + 5}{2}  , \frac{2 + (-4)} {2}  =( -2, -1 )

The coordinate of the mid point is ( -2, -1 )

What do you understand by the term weather? mention and elaborate four elements of weather?
Bond [772]

Answer:

The weather represents the state of the atmosphere in a certain place, at a certain moment. <em>Usually, the weather is defined by evoking the most obvious characteristic of the atmosphere, so that it can be warm weather, cold or frosty weather, clear weather. </em>

The characteristics that define the weather are the <u>meteorological elements.</u> These are:

  • air temperature (expressed in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit)
  • air pressure (expressed in millimeters mercury column)
  • wind direction and speed (wind direction is indicated by the cardinal or intercardinal point from which the wind blows, and the speed is expressed in m/s or km/h)
  • nebulosity (the degree of coverage of the celestial vault with clouds, expressed in tenths of the visible celestial vault)
  • the amount of precipitation represents the thickness of the water layer that would form if it stagnated on the earth's surface and is expressed in liters / m² or mm
