Explanation:

The reason why is bc the water in the ocean currents continuously move from one place to another.  Which can transport warm water fron the equatorial climate towards the north pole and the south pole in the polar climates.  Then the cold water tranfers back to the equator where it started off.  Though the global climate is the one that can regulate what the temperatures are in the ocean.
