Number of pallets moved in 4.5 hours = 108

converting 4.5 hours in minutes we get,

4*60 + 0.5*60 = 240+30 = 270 minutes

So, 108 pallets were moved in = 270 minutes

1 pallet was moved in = \frac{270}{108}=2.5 minutes

As the tie will get over in 2 hours or 2*60 = 120 minutes, the number of pallets that can be moved will be = \frac{120}{2.5}= 48 pallets.

Hence, 48 pallets can be moved before quitting time.

Answer:

The answer is 2.5 minutes; 48 pallets

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of pallets worker moved in a warehouse = 108

Number of hours it takes to do so  = 4.5

Rate at which they require to move one pallet is given by

Number of pallets worker moved in a warehouse = 108

Number of hours it takes to do so  = 4.5

Rate at which they require to move one pallet is given by

4.5/108 x 60 minutes = 2.5 minutes

Now, if the worker will be off the clock in 2 hours ,

So, number of pallets he can move before quitting time is given by

In 4.5 hours, number of pallets they moved = 108

In 1 hour, number of pallets they moved = 108/4.5 = 24

In 2 hours, number of pallets they moved = 24 x 2 = 48

For what value of a is (a,9) a solution for the equation y=2x+1?
Ivahew [28]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(a,9).......we dont know " a " (or x) but we do know y...it is 9

so sub in 9 for y and solve for x

y = 2x + 1

9 = 2x + 1

9 - 1 = 2x

8 = 2x

8/2 = x

Y=5

15. = slope would be 7 and y-int would be -4
16. = slope would be -2/5 and y-int would be 0
17. = doesn’t have a y variable

slope intercept form is y=mx+b with the m being the slope and the b being the y-int. in some cases where the equation is not in this form you have to change it so it is in that form by using opposite operations
