There really isn’t any reason. Statistically everyone in the country spends about $250 on lottery tickets a year and the poor people spends 3–4x a much a year. If the whole idea is to keep them from gambling because they are bad at math and won’t gamble. Well most people are bad at math and gamble and don’t understand how the lottery works.

Look at lottery spendings per state and population. Right so, either by some argument a chunk of the population is spending 1/30th-1/60th of the paycheck on lottery tickets or more and it doesn’t account for truly addicted gamblers who buy $500/week or well I think I’ve made my point that if the rules were meant to prevent children I don’t know.

Children have no money really. The reason is they won’t let them claim the prize however it can be claimed by the parent.

Using assessment centers as a form of evaluation is losing support because it is not as comprehensive as the use of a test or an
mr_godi [17]

Assessment centers are central locations that can be used by organizations to test the knowledge of potential employees. The answer to the claim above about assessment centers is

  • False

Assessment centers are reserved spaces where individuals can be tested on their knowledge. These centers can be used by exam bodies and organizations. Invigilators are assigned to moderate the exams.

Even though this channel has some problems associated with its use, like its expensive nature and issues with logistics, it remains a helpful way to conduct tests and interviews because it allows for exam conditions.

What were strengths and weaknesses of the British and Continental armies at the start of the American Revolution?
Novay_Z [31]

I may not list all of them, Strengths: the Continential army was fighting to protect something (which can help with morale) and fighting on their homeland. The British Army was greater in numbers, better trained, and had more money to back them up. Weaknesses: The Continental army was poorly trained, had few funds, and was not well supported by their government. The British army was tired, harder to feed (because of the size), and it took longer to get them resources (their homeland was across the ocean).

EXAMPLES OF ADAPTATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS
Anna [14]

Answer:

Examples of Human Adaptation

Diets are an example of human adaptation because the food available depends on the geographical area where humans live.

For example, the Inuit eat a lot of seal and fish because those are the most abundant sources of food in the artic, while the Mediterranean diet is abundant in fruits and vegetables because the climate of the Mediterranean is warm, and many crops grow there.

Examples of Human  Modification

Aqueducts are a form of human modification. They are physical structures used to carry water from one place to another, and they can be built above ground or underground. The Romans were famous builders of acqueducts.

Examples of both

Wells are like a rudimentary aqueduct. They are digged in the ground to obtain water from underground sources, and represent both a human adaptation and modification at the same time.

Which of the following is not in agreement with the Inverted-U Hypothesis? Performance continually increases as arousal increase
netineya [11]

Answer:

The answer is "Performance continually increases as arousal increases".

Explanation:

The Inverted-U hypothesys, so named because the shape it reflects on a graph, indicates that a very low or high level of arousal can be detrimental for the performance of a task. This means that the best position is an intermedite point of arousal, in which there is both a little of excitement and stress associated with the task.
