Starvation is a worldwide issue that has been studied for centuries, the complexity of its origin and how to handle it makes it difficult to propose one specific public policy to address it. However most of the studies agreed in that poverty and injustice are the two main reasons of starvation. Public policies such as creating programs for people of low income, sharing from the excedents of local and global restaurants, campaigns of donation as well as fighting the inequality in the world are valid approaches to fight this complex issue.

What was the primary goal of the New Deal? (4 points) balance the federal budget and pay down debt remove restrictive regulation
Phantasy [73]

The correct answer is: Provide economic relief, reform, and recovery

The New Deal was an economic policy program launched by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933, and its objective was to fight against the effects of the Great Depression in the country.

It was a program of interventionist policies because Roosevelt believed that if the State did not intervene, there was a risk of deflationary episodes because the population could not buy all the goods available in the market, so there would be an excess supply that would lead to a price decrease. In addition, he was sure that if the situation was not controlled by the State there would be increases in the unemployment rate.

The correct answer is increase in industrialization.

Due to the technological advancements of the mid-late 1800's, Americans started to rely more on industry rather than farming. Working in a factory rather than a farm had its perks. People who worked in a factory had guaranteed wages, whereas in farming the amount of money a person makes is dependent on several different factors like the amount of people who want to buy your products, climate, location, etc.
