The answer would be A. B, C, and D are accidents that are usually not intentional but could be preventable, however in some cases that isn't possible either.

Drug overdoses can be intentional, because some drug overdoses are premeditated (such as in the case of suicide) or not intentional or accidental. However drug overdoses can definitely be prevented, simply by not abusing drugs, taking your prescription as prescribed by your doctor, and not using hardcore drugs

azamat

Answer:

Less air sacs or surface area = less gas exchage = less oxygen makes it to the blood

Explanation:

Well, smoking is very bad cuz it basically breaks down your alveoli (air sacs) and causes their wall to be so thin that they start to merge with each other. Merging lowers the available surface area in lung for gas exchange, thus you cannot exchage the oxygen from your lung into the blood. Even though when you breathe in you take in all the oxygen you possibly can, it does not matter cuz it won't be making it to your blood as efficiently.

Which scenario is an example of a longitudinal research design?
ss7ja [257]

Answer: c. Dr. Michaels administers a questionnaire to gather data on childhood friendships to a group of 5-, 6-, and 7-year-olds. She meets with all three groups and gives them the same questionnaire for the next 3 years and stops when they are 8, 9, and 10 years old.

Explanation:

A longitudinal study in research design can be define as the study which is associated with the repeated observation of the same kind of variable(s). Such variables are examined for the short and long periods of time. It is a type of observational study that can be structured as randomized experiments.

C. is the correct option this is because of the fact that the a single variable is used here that is friendship, to make it a longitudinal study with the same children that were assessed in different years of their age at different time duration.
