The grievances were that they were underpaid (if paid at all), suffered in the cold, and died of sickness. During The Revolution, a small mutiny of soldiers took place in the New Jersey Line. It involved about 200 men who defied their commanding officers. General George Washington, led his troops in disarming the mutineers
