To help find the interval look at the root and act in that key. Example: If it was an Eb to an A. look at it in the key of Eb. Identity the interval not the tonality first. So it would be a 4th. Then, tell if it is major, minor, augmented, or diminished. A perfect interval can be unison, perfect prime (8th), 4th, or 5th. The tonality for a 8th, 4th, or 6th can be perfect (part of the major scale such as Ab in the key of Eb), augmented is a half step up (such as an A) or diminished half step down (such as Abb). If it is a interval of a 2nd, 3rd, 6th, or 7th. Then it can be Major (think major scale). If it is a half step down from the major then it is minor. If it is a whole step down (from the major) it is a diminished. If it is a half step up from the major then it is a augmented cord. Hoped this help and wasn’t too confusing!

podryga [215]
The design principle that Manet used in his painting Jeanne: Spring is B. emphasis.
This is because he placed stress, or emphasis on her expressions, features, and clothes, whereas the remainder of the painting is not as relevant as these features are.

Why do you think it took four different people to create a Japanese woodcut? Why didn't one person do all the work like most art
Zarrin [17]

Answer:

It took four people to create the Japanese woodcut because according to the Japanese tradition, woodcut is an important print that required the efforts of four people for perfection. Unlike other paintings, the woodcut is very complex.

Explanation:

One of the oldest forms of print-making is the woodcut. It is made when an image is cut into a wooden surface, put in ink, and printed on another surface like fabric.

The Japanese woodcut prints were created by a collaboration between four people namely;  an artist, a publisher, a printer and a block cutter.

This print is known as <em>ukiyo-e </em>prints. It involved the division of labor as the Printer printed with water inks, the Publisher financed, the block cutter carved blocks and the artist drew the colors.
