They were a great craftsman, and they revolutionized the weapons by making them from strengthened iron. They also had chariots that were on a much higher level than the ones their neighboring nations used. The Hittites also in their advantage used the internal worsened situations of the surrounding countries, as well as their arrogance and the fact that they were seen as underdogs.
