What characteristics you are looking for in god

English

This is a great question, although it falls into Religious Studies more than English it may just be an English essay or something along the lines of that.

I am someone who doesn't believe in God anymore, I do study Religious Studies and a lot of the religions that believe in God have a lot of similar ideas on what they expect him and his characteristics to be.

A few key words here that are bound to get you a mark;

God is Omnipotent.
Having unlimited power.

God is Omniscient.
Knowing everything.

God is Omnibenevolent.
All loving, infinitely good.

If you want in depth definitions of the words I mentioned, you can Google them.

Those are three largely mentioned characteristics of God and I think if you just write them and write paragraphs on each you should get the marks. However, I would like to point out that the question is asking what YOU are looking for in God. That is a question that is completely up to you and your own thoughts. Answer it with your own opinion, and ask yourself what you really look for in God.

I hope this helped, let me know if you are still stuck with it! ;3

Which is NOT one of Aristotle’s three modes of persuasion?
BartSMP [9]
Versos! Aristotle said that Logos is like logic, Pathos is appealing to people through emotion, and Ethos is how credible somebody is, like how you would believe a doctor more than you would a ten year old. Versos is not one :)

MrRa [10]

The textbook and assigned media describe the Internet as, originally and fundamentally:

 • a decentralized network

 • The Internet is the global system for telecommunications. It is a tool that has helped bring the world closer. This is why it is sometimes called a global village.

 • A decentralized network is one that is controlled by many, and not by only one person or a small group of people.

 • As a result of this, assigned media and textbooks describe the Internet as fundamentally a decentralized network because it is not controlled by one person, but used by all.

 • Therefore, the correct answer is option D
