Kristall nacht was one of the first events that the Nazi party did to show dominance and kill all jews. They went around towns in germany destroying windows and shops owned by jews. They also marked properties by Jewish people by painting a Jewish star in red paint on their House/Shop to simbalize that a jew lived there and Germans schould dupport German shops not jewish ones.
