I hope I can help! :)

The answer would be
A-they had many natural resources

Here is some more information:
India had useful resources that the British needed. Also, they took control so the Dutch or French could not attack west India via the Red Sea.
The Suez canal was called the "lifeline of their emipre" as it was the most important route for the British to access their colonies in Asia and Africa.

New technology lead to more destructive weapons (mustard gas and machine guns) during World War I
svetlana [45]

Answer:

A prolonged war and greatly increased the number of casualties in the war

Explanation:

In World War I we saw the introduction of chemical weapons, machine guns, artillery, and tanks. All of this resulted in trench warfare and the lack of tactics to fight the new weapons meant that the war would be longer and a lot deadlier than it would have been without those weapons. It dragged for years from one stalemate to another and claimed a lot of lives.

Why did russia have revolution in 1917?
Nezavi [6.7K]
The first world war placed an unbearable strain on Russia's weak government and economy, resulting in mass shortages and hunger. In the meantime, the mismanagement and failures of the war turned the people and soldiers against the Tsar whose decision to take personal command of the army seemed to make him personally responsible for the defeats. In March 1917, the Tsar first lost control of the streets, then the soldiers, and finally of the Duma, resulting in his forced abdication on March 15th, 1917.

From 1 John, we learn that fellowship with God is in:
goldenfox [79]
<span>Love, Life and Light.
John was "the disciple whom Jesus loved" -- as described in the Bible. We might say he and Jesus were best friends. John's letters to the church--1, 2 and 3 John--are full of expressions of how God brings us life and light through his love. Some pertinent passages from 1 John would be examples like these:<em> "We proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us"</em> (1 Jn 1:2). <em>"If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another"</em> (1 Jn 1:7). "<em>Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God" </em>(1 Jn 4:7).</span>
