Add $3(hamburger and $2(milkshake) You'll get $5.

The last expression has 3+2 in parenthesis(). It's 5 as well.

Then subtract $5 from 20.

It's not the first expression because you're adding 20 and 5.You had to subtract.(20-5)

Answer:20 - (3+2)

The answer would be 20-(3+2) because first you do what is inside the parentheses 3+2=5 and now you have to subtract 20-5=15. Cody’s change should be $15.

marin [14]

Answer:

4/24 times

Step-by-step explanation:

Since there are 6 sides on a dice and it's rolled 4 times you would need to do 6*4 which is 24, then every number could have the probability of 4/24 to get rolled every time.

Robert is inspecting a shipment of 22 inch pipes. The length of the pipes may vary by 1%. What is the range of allowable lengths
Slav-nsk [51]

Answer:

The allowable lengths of pipe is from 21.78 inch to 22.22 inch.

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of the each pipe in the shipment =  22 inch

The variation in the length of pipes  = 1%

⇒The allowable length of pipe in the inspection  = 22 inch ± 1%

Now, 1% of 22 = \frac{1}{100}  \times 22 = 0.22

So,  22 inch + 1% = 22 inch + 0.22 =  22.22 inch

and 22 inch -  1% = 22 inch - 0.22 =  21.78 inch

⇒ 22 inch ± 1%  =  22.22 inch and 21.78 inch

Hence, the allowable lengths of pipe is from 21.78 inch to 22.22 inch.

Answer:

x=\sqrt{338}

Step-by-step explanation:

a^2+b^2=c^2

x^2+x^2=26^2

2x^2=26^2

2x^2=676

/2           /2

x^2=338

\sqrt{x^2} =\sqrt{338}

Method of Least Squares, Evaluation of Cost Equation Lassiter Company used the method of least squares to develop a cost equatio
maksim [4K]

Solution :

1). The cost of the formula is given as :

   $ 19,350 + $12 x

2). 95% \text{confidence interval} for the prediction is :

    $21430 - 1.96 \times 220 < \text{Yf} < 21430+1.96 \times 220$

     $20998.8 < \text{Yf} < 21861.2$

     $20999 < \text{Yf} < 21861$    (rounding off)

3). r = 0.92

Therefore, $r^2 = 0.8464$

That is 84.64 % of the variability in the moving cost is best explained by the number of moves.
