Explanation:

Many aspects of cell metabolism revolves around production of ATP and their consumption. In cells oxidation of metabolic fuel for example protein, carbohydrate and lipids provide energy. ATP is also call or seen as energy exchange factor.

The connector are anabolism and catabolism. Glucose is the main energy source of cellular metabolism. Glycolysis, tricarboxylic acid cycle and finally oxidative phosphorylation are three process of producing ATP.
